Teenage Dads are from Victoria. The have two albums and four EP’s. Their most recent album “Majordomo” was nominated for a J award from Triple J Australia. I saw them as an opener in November 2024 and really enjoyed the music and energy. They are coming back to the US in 2025. Song from their recent release “Boarding Pass”.

Betty Taylor is an indie band from Queensland who has been together for about two years. They released their first EP, Young, Dumb, and Immature in Dec 2024. It’s a great first effort and worth a listen. Listen to the single, Young, Dumb, and Immature. They are scheduled to appear at SXSW in 2025.

The Wattles, indie band, has one EP, Fooled (no release date yet). They are led by the powerful voice of Lucy Murray. They received lots of press with the release of the single, The Wrong Idea (about consent.) They are a Sydney band, based in London. Hopefully, we will see a lot more of them in the months to come. Vacations, indie rock band, has three albums and two EP’s, their latest album, No Place Like Home was released in Jan 2024. In 2022, their single Young from 2016 went viral from TikTok, and became certified gold in the US, Canada, and Poland. They are one of the most played Australian bands played on Spotify and touring the US in 2024. Listen to Young and Over You.

The Bouys, alternative rock band, after three EP’s, they released their debut album, Lustre in July 2024. It is definitely one of the best albums released this year. The band was formed in 2016, had some personnel changes, but has remained intact as of 2019. Take a listen to Ahead of Myself and Check Mate.
