Slowly Slowly is another of my favorite Australian bands with four albums released. They should have much more international recognition. Among their many great tunes, Blueprint, Jellyfish, Race Car Blues, Hurricane, and God are just a few of their highlights. Give them a listen!!!!!! Sly Withers music bends towards an EMO sound. They have a large following with Australia. They have released three albums, the last two charted at number 10 on the Australian music sales charts. They are scheduled to appear at SXSW in 2025.

Stumps most recent album Arcadia, released in January 2024, is near the top of my favorite releases that year. This is their 2nd excellent album. Once again, this is another band that should have international visibility including the United States. Listen to Life's Moving Past You.

Teen Jesus, rock band, is another of my favorite bands. They released their debut album, I Love You in 2023. Rolling Stone Australia nominated them as best new artist in 2023 and 2024. Their album, Glory released in Nov 25 is excellent. The band continues to grow and finally getting the international recognition they deserve. Listen to Balcony.

Teenage Joans are a duo, rock and punk rock, they won Australia’s Triple J Unearthed Competition Award in 2020. Their debut album, The Rot That Grows Inside My Chest, was released in 2023 and definitely worth a listen.

I included The Lazy Susans based on their 2019 album, Now That The Party’s Over. It is such an exceptional album with the most beautiful heartfelt personal lyrics. July 2024 – After 5 years they released an excellent new single, Instincts, from their upcoming EP, Anything Can Happen Now. Date to follow.
